Precision Greenhouse Humidity & Temperature Control
Over 20 years of engineered climate solutions for commercial growers.
High-Pressure Greenhouse Fogging

Stable humidity and tight temperature control are the foundations of vigorous growth, uniform crops, and consistent yields. Misting SA designs high-pressure fogging systems that create a uniform microclimate using ultra-fine droplets that evaporate in the air — no leaf wetting, no runoff, no disease risk. Built for tunnels, nurseries, hydroponics, propagation and high-value crops.
Why humidity matters
- Prevents plant stress and excessive transpiration
- Improves nutrient uptake and stomatal function
- Increases germination/rooting success
- Reduces heat load and leaf scorch
- Lowers disease pressure by avoiding wet surfaces
- Delivers consistent growth and marketable quality
Benefits of high-pressure fogging
Stable humidity
Sub-10 µm droplets evaporate mid-air to hold target RH and VPD without wetting foliage.
Temperature reduction
Flash evaporation lowers air temperature by 5–12 °C (site dependent).
Higher yields
Uniform microclimates support faster growth, stronger flowering, better quality.
Water savings
Up to 70% less water than pads or low-pressure spray systems.
Safe for all crops
Seedlings, propagation, leafy greens, flowers, herbs, cannabis, orchids.
How the system works
- 70–80 bar pump with filtration (bag/cartridge as required)
- Stainless / aluminium distribution lines and anti-drip fog nozzles
- Optional recirculation or HAF fans to move and mix air
- Zoning by bay/tunnel; instant start/stop with no drips
- Fog evaporates in free air — raises RH and removes sensible heat without wetting plants or surfaces
Automation & control
Automatic start / stop
Sensors activate the system when RH drops below target, when temperatures spike, or when ventilation changes.
Multi-zone greenhouses
Large farms can run multiple zones independently.
Compatible with
- Priva
- Growlink
- Ridder
- Any standard horticultural controller
Ideal applications
- Hydroponics & aquaponics
- Propagation & germination houses
- Commercial nurseries & shade-net structures
- Cannabis cultivation & high-value ornamentals
- Indoor grow rooms / vertical farms
